Maplehurst Message for November 16, 2018

Wow - did the kids ever have fun in the snow today! There was a lot of boulder-building and fort-making going on at Maplehurst during break times….

Progress Reports

Students have been working hard this fall and Progress Reports come on Monday. Teachers look forward to discussing your child’s progress at the conference next week! A reminder that next Friday is a PA Day.

Book Fair is Coming!

Our Scholastic Book Fair is a reading event that brings the books kids want to read right into our school. It’s a wonderful selection of engaging and affordable books for every reading level. We invite your family to visit our Book Fair to browse and purchase books for your child. If you are unable to attend, our classroom teachers will be providing opportunities for students to visit the Book Fair throughout the day. This fundraising event supports our Maplehurst library and allows us to purchase even more great books for our students to enjoy!

Book Fair dates: November 30th, December 2-4th.

Specific Times will be determined closer to the date.

We look forward to seeing you and your family at our Book Fair!

**Please note that the Book Fair is a completely optional opportunity for all students and there is no expectation that students or families purchase items during the Book Fair.**

Very Merry Market: November 24th from 10:00am-2:00pm

A handout was distributed to all students today with details on the Very Merry Market next Saturday. It is also attached to this message. We look forward to seeing everyone there! If you have any questions please contact Christa at christa.stribbell@hotmail.com

Reminder: No Parking on Plains Road

There is a small drop off zone at the front of the school on Plains Rd. Please remember that it is a designated “no parking” zone.
